;PawsForward
Paws and Stripes ;PawsForward program delivers a two-hour suicide prevention training, also known as QPR, which stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. Quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

ENROLL WITH
PAWS AND STRIPES
Paws and Stripes is a local nonprofit located in New Mexico, setting up shelter dogs with veterans diagnosed with PTSD and/or TBI to become service dogs, at no cost to the veteran to enroll.
WHY SHOULD I ENROLL?
Insurance companies typically don’t cover the cost of service dogs for veterans. Privately, it costs from $10,000 to $60,000 for the dog and its training. This is where Paws and Stripes comes in. We provide service dogs for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Most importantly, we do it for free, at no cost to the veteran to enroll.
