Our mission & vision
To provide animal-assisted therapy and other mental health services to military veterans and their loved ones living with service-connected trauma.
Veterans and their dogs living without isolation.
COMPANION ANIMAL PROGRAM
Veterans that have experienced military sexual trauma are twice as likely to be houseless.
1 in 4 veterans with ptsd have a substance abuse disorder.
Between 2005 and 2017, more veterans died by suicide than in the wars in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan Combined.
About half of veterans reported mental health services being cancelled or postponed in 2020, in many cases indefinitely
